Punarnava

Pyelonephritis(Mutrakrichha): a condition in which a person experiences painful urination and a strong urge to urinate. It is a disorder of the Mutravaha Srotas.

  1. Chandraprabha Vati- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  2. Goksuradi guggulu- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  3. Ushirasava- 20 ml twice daily before food
  4. Punarnavarishta- 20 ml twice daily before food

Panchkarma:

  1. Snehan with Sahsaradi taila
  2. Swedan- Baspa
  3. Basti- Erandmooladi taila

Urinary Calculi(Mutrashmari): a pathological condition of urinary system occurs due to aggregation of urinary crystalloids anywhere in urinary tract.

  1. Chandraprabha Vati- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  2. Varunadi Kwath- 20 ml twice daily before food
  3. Ushirasava- 20 ml twice daily before food
  4. Sarivadyasava- 20 ml twice daily before food
  5. Chandanasava- 20 ml twice daily before food

Panchakarma:

  1. Swedan- Pinda swedan
  2. Basti- Punarnavadi kwath, Dasamoola kwath

Nephrotic syndrome(Brikka Sotha): a kidney disorder that occurs when the glomeruli, or filtering units, in the kidneys are damaged.

  1. Punarnava Mandoor- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  2. Goksuradi Guggulu- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  3. Punarnavarishta- 20 ml twice daily before food

Cystitis/Dysuria(Mutraghata): infection of the lower urinary tract, or more specifically, the urinary bladder.

  1. Chandraprabha Vati- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  2. Goksuradi Guggulu- 2 tabs twice daily before food
  3. Chandanasava- 20 ml twice daily before food
  4. Punarnavarishta- 20 ml twice daily before food

Foods to take:

  1. Wheet
  2. Old Sali Rice
  3. Mung Dal
  4. Bottle Gourd
  5. Ridge Gourd
  6. Pomegranate
  7. Papaya
  8. Muskmelon
  9. Wall nut
  10. Dates

Foods not to take:

  1. Oily and Spicy Foods
  2. Salt
  3. Sour foods
